CXT Wire Rope Hoist

The patented Konecranes CXT wire rope hoist is one of the primary keys to Konecranes’ efficient and reliable operation.  The CXT wire rope hoist is available in several different, beginning with the 10-ton capacity Low Headroom Single Girder design.
In order to provide many dependable years of hassle-free service while standing up to rugged and harsh conditions, the CXT hoist’s gears are designed and manufactured with the upmost accuracy. High Performance trolley and hoist motors power these reliable hoists. Other features of the CXT Wire Rope Hoist include the reduction of rope-bend through a large-diameter rope drum. This feature works to minimize hook travel during lowering, as well as increase the life of the cable. Secondly, the hoist features a robust DC hoist brake that is designed to complete a million-plus cycles in-between adjustments. For hoists that will be operating in hazardous environments, Konecranes has designed components that are especially rated for exacting safety requirements. And finally, in order to most efficiently utilize building and operating space, these hoists were designed to be as compact as possible.

Konecranes’ takes lifting to new performance heights with SMARTON®, an evolutionary technology. This technology is comes on Konecranes’ 10-ton cranes on up to equipment with a 500-ton limit. SMARTON, which is built on Human Interface to Machine (HIM) technology, utilizes a 2-transmitter intelligent radio control to send the crane operator critical information to the operator. This information includes total loads, upcoming maintenance, from-the-ground troubleshooting and problem solving data, when load limits are being approached, reached or exceeded by the equipment, and, for optimal and precise operation, 3D positioning.

These EKPT manual trolleys and EKMII manual chain hoists offer provide a cost-saving alternative for less-frequent lifting needs.
