Industrial crane power supply systems.
Konecranes has designed safe and reliable power supply systems for industrial cranes. Koneductor power supply with continuous copper conductors is ideal for long track lengths and high capacity systems. The advantage of Koneductor-X premounted bars is quick installation and easy modification.
Koneductor
- For a Wide Range of Applications
Koneductor is supplied with two to seven copper conductors for capacities from 35A up to 320A. Koneductor is available in unlimited track lengths and can be installed both indoors and outdoors under widely varying weather conditions. The flexible sealing provides suitability for dusty, humid, and corrosive environments.
- Compact Design and Simple Installation
Due to the compact design, the Koneductor system requires a minimal space. The light-weight PVC housing and design of the accessory components makes the installation of the system quick and easy. The copper conductors can be pulled from rolls into the ready-installed PVC housing in long continuous lengths, without any connections to the conductor.
- Safety and Reliability
The copper conductors carrying the electricity are inside the plastic housing. The end and line feed boxes and other accessory components are all designed for safe use. The continuous conductors ensure minimal voltage drop and brush wear.
Koneductor- X
- Easy and Quick Installation
Koneductor-X length consists of premounted copper conductors. Joining of two bars and fixing them to the hangers does not require any screws or tools providing the easiest and fastest installation available on the market. Extension and replacing of single bars between any joint is naturally fast and easy.
- Safety
The copper strip carrying the electricity is inside the bar housing. The joints are covered with a plastic cover providing a safe solution. The trolley design is based on sliding blocks, instead of trolley wheels, to provide smooth and reliable movement through the joints.
- Reliability
The design provides free expansion of the copper strip and plastic housing. Copper strips are connected with a copper clamp. The clamps carry the current over the connection and keep the copper ends in correct position. During temperature changes, the clamp allows the copper ends to move toward or away from each other without effecting the reliable current connection. The plastic material and the shape of the enclosure are designed to efficiently shed dust to ensure a reliable connection.
