With the Konecranes Compact-10, you get several key benefits.  The single girder is either top running or under running, your capacity is up to 10 metric tonne (22,000 pounds), you can lift up to 9 meters (29 feet and 6 inches), and the Compact-10 spans up to 18 meters (59 feet and 0 inches).  You can also choose for your Compact-10 to have either electric chain hoist or electric wire rope, each having several advantages.  You have the option of energy chain & radio or else festoon and pendant. You can pick red standard features or yellow standard features for the color of the bridge. And finally you can choose to add an overload protection device or have your Compact-10 be only for indoor use.

Hoisting Motor

Your Compact-10 hoisting motor is equipped with several impressive features.  You have dual-speed hoisting, and for CXT hoists, you have a 6:1 ratio and for XN Chain Hoist, a ratio of 4:1. For the CXT hoist, your hoisting motor comes with a Heavy-duty ED rating of 60% and for the XN hoist a ED rating of 40%. The hoisting brake has Class F insulation and IP55 protection class. Finally, the DC hoist brake is very rugged, it was designed for an impressive one million cycles of operation.
For trolley and bridge motions, your Compact-10 is equipped with inverter control, giving you load positioning that is optimal and accurate, and, to maintain long brake life and travel motor life, very safe and smooth operation.

Safety

Your Compact-10 is easy to use and is very safe.  It is equipped with a mechanical overload limiting device to give your operator the highest amount of safety possible. Additionally, the Compact-10 has a geared lower and upper limit switch, as well as inverter travel motion to lessen load swing.

Available options

On your Compact-10 crane solution, you have several options and upgrades.  You can add collision avoidance, a spare radio transmitter, a device for safety warning, such as an alarm or horn, two-step travel limits, or a limit switch that is hook-operated.
