Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the institute is a 5,200 square foot facility that teaches thousands of students each year. Konecranes also offers training at our center in Los Angeles, as well as on-site training at your facility.

  • Instructors who complete and pass the "Train-the-Trainer" Curriculum are certified by us
  • Konecranes offers One-on-One Instruction time
  • The course lasts 8 hours

Crane operators can do the following upon completion of the course:

  • Perform and document the daily crane inspection procedure required by OSHA
  • Comprehend the necessary steps to minimize load swing
  • Understand the standard crane operator requirements and qualifications
  • Understand the standard rigging process to connect a hook to the load
  • Understand the  requirements per OSHA 1910.179 for crane operators
  • Make precise lifts as well as perform load spotting correctly
  • Identify and explain all major crane parts and assemblies functions
  • Explain and use all recommended hand signals
  • Understand the four rules of safe and proficient crane use
