The Konecranes Academy
A global development program for middle management
Since 1997, the Konecranes Academy has formed the core of our middle management training. The curriculum includes training in accounting, customer relations, and supply chain management. Additionally, the program includes an international course which focuses on managing cultural differences, communication, and leadership. The entire process lasts approximately three years and graduation from the academy commences upon completion of a final examination.
In 2005, we offered graduates the possibility to participate in follow-up courses, called Academy+. One hundred and forty-five graduates of the program took the opportunity to participate in training that addressed corporate strategies and strategic prioritization.
